10th September 2006

Sunday 10th September 2006, dawned a beautiful day and stayed that way all day.
This was most pleasant as we've had some pretty ordinary weather lately.
Went out to cover no 36, which consisted of ZR 2101/DQ 2011/ZP2100, this had its normal loading of container boxes, with a string of graffited HF empty coal hoppers at the rear.
This train proceeded to Tea Tree to cross the Southbound no 31, empty paper train. The following photos are what I was able to get as the light faded at the end of the day.

PLEASE NOTE: For sharper images please click onto full size and then right click to view on your computer. There is a fall off in image quality from the initial images displayed. I plan to address this problem shortly. This is however in the fotopic presentation as the full size option will show!!!!

After crossing no 36 at Tea Tree loop, the impressive sight of D 2021/MKA 2134/MKA 2137/D 2020 can be seen catching the last rays of spring sunshine, seen side on approaching Back Tea Tree Road crossing. Presumably in years to come this shot will not be possible due to those seedling trees growing up!!.
